Develops and leads marketing and communications strategies across multiple business areas, including client journeys, collateral, presentations, sales enablement, events, webinars, website content, email marketing, and social media. Analyzes performance, manages complex projects, supports brand alignment, advises leadership and sales teams, and leads cross-functional partners toward shared goals.
The Sr Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing the strategy, creation, sales enablement and distribution of marketing and communications plans for multiple areas of the business. The successful candidate in this role will be a resourceful self-starter who is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of high visibility, multi-faceted marketing and communications strategies with changing priorities, as well as having regular interactions with senior marketing and business leadership.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop, lead, and execute specialized strategy for [multiple areas of the business] independently, partnering with members of the marketing team and internal clients to ensure both long-term and short-term goals are defined and met
- Ensure client experience across the business is aligned with the brand and firm culture
- Develop reporting and conducts ongoing analysis to improve outcomes
- Serve as expert for [multiple areas of the business,] including the industry, the internal operations, the client experience, competitors’ go to market strategy and marketing /communication trends
- Own an initiative, platform, specialization, campaign, etc. and expand its utilization (from rollout, to best practice sharing and execution monitoring, and measurement) to multiple businesses/brands
- Take a leadership role in ensuring holistic approaches are taken with marketing across multiple brands in a region, multiple businesses/specialties at the national level, etc.
- Provide communications and visibility to the sales team and Sr. Leadership team on the work being completed and outcomes
- Manage complex projects with on time and in budget delivery and transparent communication to stakeholders
- Apply prioritization and time management skills to workload, being flexible and strategic to handle changing priorities
- Operate with curiosity to continue learning more every day and a spirit of we before me teamwork
- Demonstrate a passion for doing what is right for our stakeholders
- Build trusted relationships at all levels of the business
- Lead business partners toward shared goals
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop and/or Canva
- Proven outcomes in email marketing and social media promotions
- Demonstrates high attention to detail
- Knowledge or strong desire to learn about the insurance industry
- Proven ability to write content on complex/technical topics
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective project management and time management skills, especially when working with others.
- Sound understanding of marketing principles
- Experience leading sales enablement efforts
- Experience writing and editing professional content
- Excellent social media and design skills
- Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture
- Passionate about working in an environment driven by creativity, collaboration, innovation and fun!
- 7+ years of marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related is preferred
