Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior PR Manager to join Procore’s rapidly growing communications team. In this role, you’ll lead and execute the public relations strategy for our cutting-edge product portfolio and AI innovation, securing high-impact media coverage and elevating brand awareness. The primary goal of this role is to establish Procore's leadership in connected construction technology by crafting compelling, market-differentiating narratives that highlight our product offerings and the tangible value they bring to customers.

As a Senior PR Manager, you’ll partner with product marketing, product management, and executive leadership to drive successful global product launches and proactively position our platform as essential to the future of construction. Within this role, you’ll use your skills and expertise in strategic media relations, product and customer storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen Procore’s brand awareness and market credibility, while generating earned media coverage in tier one business, tech and trade outlets.

This position reports to the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations. This role will ideally be based in Austin, TX, with the ability to come into the office 1-2 days/week or as needed, but we are open to other locations for the right candidate.  We’re looking for this person to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Procore's global product PR function to strategically position our latest AI and connected construction platform innovations in the market.

  • Develop and execute a proactive customer storytelling program, securing joint media opportunities that highlight the tangible value our products deliver.

  • Direct the PR strategy and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product marketing, product, and customer advocacy) to execute integrated communications plans for major product launches.

  • Drive high-impact media coverage tied to product and AI innovation trends with key business, technology, and construction vertical outlets.

  • Oversee the creation and quality of essential PR content, including media pitches, product blog posts, byline articles, and press releases.

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to develop and execute proactive communications and thought leadership programs aligned with corporate and product priorities.

  • Identify, train, and prepare internal spokespeople (including product and customer leaders) for media interviews and speaking opportunities.

  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of product and customer PR campaigns, providing insights to inform future strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in driving impactful Product PR programs, with a mix of in-house and agency experience preferred; ideally with a background that includes high-growth SaaS or B2B tech companies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong, established relationships with key business, technology, and vertical media (e.g., construction industry) contacts.

  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and product leaders, providing confident, direct communications counsel.

  • Proven ability to translate complex platform features and AI/technology innovations into clear, compelling, and market-differentiating narratives.

  • Experience developing and executing integrated PR strategies for product launches with global or national scope.

  • Exceptional written communication and copyediting skills across a range of media materials (pitches, press releases, bylines).

  • Proven track record of building trust and credibility while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and sales, among others.
