Onsemi is looking for a self-driven quality and reliability leader to work in a fast-paced environment and be a key team member to accelerate adoption of cutting-edge semiconductor products and technologies. In this highly visible role, the candidate will work with multiple business units, multidisciplinary teams and interface with Tier 1 customers to ensure we exceed customers’ needs with high quality, reliable products.

Responsibilities

Performance Objectives:

  • Lead quality and reliability for new product development across analog, mixed signal and non-volatile memory based products.  Interface with business units, product engineering, Fab, packaging, manufacturing teams and customers to achieve these goals
  • Coordinate with customers and product development teams to define reliability requirements based on customer use conditions
  • Perform data analysis and prepare customer friendly reports for communication
  • Define and manage NPD quality requirements within internal cross-functional teams
  • Conduct risk assessments, reliability assessments and help drive failure analysis, RCCA post reliability stress to address failures (if any)
  • Design accelerated reliability stress tests to develop or verify reliability stress (acceleration) models
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams to deploy thorough characterization routines to ensure successful NPD qualification and customer ramp
  • Multitask and manage several projects at a time
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Device Physics, Materials Science, or relevant field
  • 10+ years in a comparable role
  • Knowledge of device physics, semiconductor wafer fab and packaging
  • Experience with JMP or other statistical tools for data analysis
  • Knowledge of industry standards – JEDEC, AEC, AQG, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communications skills, including the ability to challenge ideas in a healthy manner
  • Experience working with non-volatile memory is a plus
