As the Senior Product Manager for the Rentals Front-End Web Experience, you will own the "front door" of the Realtor.com rentals marketplace. You will lead the strategy and execution of the web-based consumer journey from the initial search and discovery phase to the moment a renter submits an application. You will focus on delivering fast, intuitive, and trustworthy Rentals experiences that improve user confidence and drive meaningful business outcomes, while helping ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, and Data teams.

What you’ll do:

Product Discovery & Roadmapping

  • Contribute to the product strategy for the Rentals business and help maintain a prioritized roadmap aligned with team objectives.
  • Lead discovery efforts for your areas of ownership, identifying opportunities to improve search UX, filters/faceting, results layouts, exploration pathways, and saved alerts.
  • Balance iterative improvements with emerging longer-term needs identified by leadership and stakeholders.

Define and Measure Product Impact

  • Define success metrics for your features (e.g., query success rate, CTR, refinement/filter usage, saves/follows, zero-results interactions).
  • Partner with Analytics/Data to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Drive Data-Informed Execution

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights—A/B tests, usability research, session replays, surveys—to validate hypotheses and inform prioritization.
  • Run and interpret experiments within your domain and document learnings to scale improvements across the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, SEO, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Gather input from consumers, agents, and internal stakeholders to refine product requirements and enhance trust and transparency in search experiences.

Partner with Engineering

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify requirements, ensure performance and reliability expectations are met, and improve logging/telemetry for observability.
  • Align with the PM for ranking/modeling on interfaces, feature signals, and shared success metrics.
  • Write clear PRDs, acceptance criteria, and release plans to support smooth development cycles.

How We Work:
We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, employees work three or more days in our offices, where real-time interaction deepens partnerships, accelerates decision-making, and strengthens our culture.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally in marketplace or e-commerce environments with exposure to consumer Search.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering user-facing discovery or search-related features with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of user journeys, funnel behaviors, and marketplace dynamics; ability to translate shopper intent into confident action.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence cross-functional partners and present findings effectively.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and partnering with engineering throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using experimentation and product analytics to inform decisions.
  • Empathy for users and a passion for building fast, intuitive, and trustworthy discovery experiences.
  • Comfort collaborating with Engineering and Data Science on APIs, performance considerations, telemetry needs, and experiment design.
  • Bonus Points:  Real estate domain knowledge; familiarity with responsible AI principles, accessibility best practices, or mobile-first product development.
