The Senior Product Manager – Specialty Pharmacy will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our next‑generation specialty pharmacy. This individual will transform our current managed service offering into a modular, scalable, technology‑first platform built on OmniSphere, enabling health systems to establish, manage, and optimize their own entity‑owned specialty pharmacies.

In this role, you will define the product direction for a rapidly growing and strategically critical business. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, operations, clinical, data science, and go‑to‑market teams to translate the evolving needs of health systems, pharmacists, prescribers, and patients into a compelling and differentiated product experience. You will guide products through the full lifecycle—from discovery and strategy to launch, customer adoption, and iterative enhancement—delivering meaningful improvements in patient access, pharmacy growth, operational efficiency, and margin performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and own the long‑term product strategy and roadmap for the Specialty Pharmacy platform, grounded in market trends, regulatory dynamics, payer/benefit design shifts, competitive offerings, and deep customer insight.
  • Transform the specialty pharmacy offering from a managed model into a configurable, modular SaaS platform delivered on OmniSphere, enabling scalability, automation, and repeatability across health systems.
  • Lead cross-functional product development, partnering with Engineering, UX, Clinical, Operations, Data, Sales, and Marketing to ensure high‑quality delivery, launch readiness, and ongoing alignment across the business.
  • Engage directly with health systems to uncover unmet needs, validate hypotheses, and shape product direction through research, interviews, workflow observations, and pilot programs.
  • Drive rigorous prioritization, balancing customer value, strategic impact, technical considerations, and revenue potential—while managing innovation vs. technical debt vs. foundational work.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and product positioning that support commercial readiness, pricing strategies, and differentiated messaging in the market.
  • Ensure compliance and quality, aligning with regulatory, clinical, and pharmacy best practices in collaboration with internal experts.
  • Monitor product performance to identify opportunities to improve adoption, reduce cost, accelerate time‑to‑value, or strengthen customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering complex technology solutions (SaaS, platforms, workflow systems, or health IT).
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, health system solutions, care management, or medical benefit/claims workflows. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, specialty pharmacy workflows, or adjacent areas (e.g., prior authorization, benefits verification, HUB services, payer engagement).
  • Deep experience translating user workflows and business models into structured product capabilities and platform components.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams and influence without authority.
  • Proven success leading products from concept to launch in fast‑paced environments.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to define metrics, interpret insights, and make informed prioritization decisions.
  • Skilled at breaking down complex problems into simple, actionable solutions.
  • Proficient in modern product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Familiarity with AI prototyping tools (e.g., Builder.io, Figma AI)
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background working with platform architecture or modular product ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7), EHR integrations, or pharmacy systems.
  • Experience managing regulated healthcare products or working within hospital/health system environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
  • Customer‑facing experience in technical, consulting, or implementation roles.

Work Conditions

  • Remote position.
  • Occasional travel up to 20% for customer visits, conferences, and internal collaboration.
