We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with expertise in eCommerce, promotion management and AB Testing that is focused on doing whatever it takes to understand the end goal of our clients. This role will serve as a liaison between highly motivated, multidisciplinary teams and our clients to build solutions leveraging SalesForce Commerce Cloud and a variety of integrations to drive the front end customer experience. This individual will have a clear understanding of and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including vision and scope definition, creative and user experience design, requirements specification and prioritization, iterative development, manual and automated testing, handoff and delivery, and ongoing optimizations through AB Testing. The best candidate will have a bias for action and bring a positive energy to the team.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities:
- Product Execution + Delivery (60%)
- Collaborates with client team to cross-team workshops with business, UX, commerce, OMS, and PIM teams ; can demonstrate structured/effective methods for discovery and able to synthesize and quantify requirements
- Manage product promotions in a tool like SFCC or other major eCommerce systems
- Excels at writing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and all supporting documentation
- Comfortable leading external meetings, regularly leads refinement discussions, and is sought out as the product expert, owning feature requirements.
- Track, organize and document project strategy and requirements gathering sessions, and driving projects forward
- Mastering managing scope and emergent requirements with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Able to identify and make decisions between impactful and urgent problems to solve with minimal or no guidance.
- Understands technical and design trade-offs, and can work with your team to find creative solutions that strike the right balance between speed and quality.
- Customer Insight / Optimization through AB Testing (~30%)
- Active advocate for the user
- Manages projects to iterate on delivery and quickly realize value for client’s users.
- Identify AB test cases, develop hypothesis and carry out test cases to inform overall features
- When assessing a product opportunity, you know how to formulate the right business questions that should be asked, and then how to track down data that can inform a decision.
- You can connect project-level outcomes to key metrics that drive your product area, and that are meaningful outcomes for the business.
- Product Strategy (~10%)
- Effectively take into account the client’s business strategy when making roadmap decisions, and can effectively communicate those strategic ties to the delivery team members.
- Make a meaningful impact to the strategy through day-to-day product execution and through your contributions to the roadmap.
- Influencing People (~15%)
- Self-starter and comfortable driving change on complex programs
- Develops meaningful relationships with key individuals internally and externally, regardless of level, to achieve business objectives.
- Able to build buy-in and support for your projects from senior managers both within and outside the product organization.
- Able to motivate your team to push through challenges, and do whatever it takes to get your project out the door.
- Coordinates implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA in relevant program, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of product experience in gathering requirements
- Familiarity with multiple functional suites and software packages for requirements (JIRA, Azure Devops, etc.)
- Subject matter expert in a Commerce tool like SFCC, SAP CC, Adobe CC, etc (SFCC preferred)
- Subject matter expert in product promo set-up and management
- Deep knowledge in AB test execution and strategy
- Deep knowledge and experience with multiple SDLCs such as Agile, Scrum and traditional waterfall
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Digital agency experience is a plus
