Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, influential, and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex, mission-critical projects across the organization. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with customer stakeholders, senior executives, management, and internal cross-functional teams to coordinate project management activities to ensure the integrity and success of projects by achieving steady measurable progress toward defined goals; efficiently executing project management practices; regular reporting; and monitoring and measurement of success metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans and strategic roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and optimal resource allocation
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, schedules, and timelines
  • Prepare, distribute, and present progress reports
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings
  • Manage changes, risks, actions, issues, and decisions and correct deviations from plan
  • Lead and mentor project teams, establish accountability frameworks, foster a culture of high performance, and develop emerging project management talent
  • Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Lead executive stakeholder engagement and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on project portfolio priorities, risks, and enterprise-wide implications
  • Manage stakeholder communications and help to implement an effective system of project governance
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
  • Identify resource needs for the project and source these resources
  • Deliver the project accurately and in accordance with contract terms
  • Maintain project documentation including documented project approvals, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Plan for and monitor project expenditures to ensure they are in line with the budget
  • Provide regular updates on financial status and progress including preparation of financial reports which detail spending, forecasting, and overall budget health
  • Know and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and represent project management excellence across the organization

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, with demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale, complex initiatives
  • High level of agility and ability manage change
  • Ability to work proactively and constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environment
  • Communication skills; high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences

Preferred qualifications

  • Advanced project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving organizational change
  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
  • Demonstrated success in vendor management, budget oversight, and P&L responsibility at strategic level



The salary range in United States of America for this position is 111,000.00 to 139,000.00 USD Annual.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
