Position: Sr. Regional Partner Marketing Specialist – Americas Resellers

Location: Remote (US Eastern or Central time zone)

Extreme Networks is seeking a Regional Partner Marketing Manager to support the execution of the AMER Pod-aligned go-to-market strategy through US regional partners. This role will work in tight collaboration with 12 Regional PAMs and the wider Channel, Distribution, Field Marketing, Partner Experience, BDR, Marketing Operations and Demand Generation teams to activate partner-led growth at scale.

The role is focused on disciplined execution, scalable partner programs, MDF effectiveness and measurable partner activation. Unlike a Strategic Partner Marketing Manager role built around a smaller set of nationally strategic reseller relationships and joint business plans, this position is designed to operationalise regional partner marketing across a broader partner base, helping PAMs and partners apply consistent demand generation, enablement, advocacy and reporting practices.

AMER Regional Partners represent significant revenue contribution and substantial MDF spend. The successful candidate will help ensure that investment is aligned to regional Pod priorities, partner readiness, measurable outcomes and clear ROI expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute AMER Pod-aligned go-to-market strategy: Support the execution of regional partner marketing plans across the US regional partner ecosystem, aligning activity to AMER Channel strategy, POD priorities, state or territory focus areas, and partner growth opportunities. Work closely with 12 Regional PAMs and leadership to translate the priorities of top partners into practical marketing plans, campaigns and activation motions.

  • Develop and execute scalable partner programs: Build and run repeatable programs that enable regional partners with demand generation strategies, partner-facing content, campaign-in-a-box motions, PDC activation, advocacy pages, partner website presence, bespoke activation content and Extreme Partner First messaging. Focus on programmes that can be consistently adopted across many partners rather than bespoke plans for only a small number of accounts.

  • Improve MDF effectiveness and ROI discipline: Support more than $1M in annual MDF investment by helping partners and PAMs connect funding requests to business outcomes, agreed tactics, activity type, lead handling, pipeline contribution and ROI expectations. Establish baseline ROI performance, promote consistent reporting, and educate PAMs and partners on best practices that improve lead follow-up, conversion and investment quality.

  • Support regional partner enablement and seller activation: Partner with PMM, Sales Enablement, Channel Sales and Partner Engagement teams to support partner enablement programmes that advance Extreme Partner First, Extreme Platform ONE, product knowledge, partner promotions, sales plays and competitive motions. Ensure enablement connects to partner productivity, seller engagement and regional pipeline contribution.

  • Plan and Deliver Extreme Partner Sales Exchange and Extreme Partner Technical Exchange events in the US: Support and help deliver two US EPSE or EPTE events per quarter, hosting more than 50 partner and distributor attendees. Coordinate content readiness, brand presence, presenter logistics, partner outreach, follow-up actions and local activation to ensure these marquee events advance partner knowledge, engagement and go-to-market execution.

  • Create consistency in partner advocacy and brand presence: Help regional partners establish and maintain consistent advocacy pages, partner website content, co-branded materials and campaign assets that reflect Extreme brand standards and make it easier for partners to position Extreme solutions clearly in their markets.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to remove execution blockers: Work with Regional PAMs, Distribution Sales, Field Marketing, BDR teams, Partner Experience, Marketing Operations and Demand Generation to ensure partner activity is set up correctly, results are tracked, and lessons learned are shared. Escalate risks and process issues early, but remain focused on practical execution and repeatable improvement.

  • Report outcomes and share best practices: Monitor MDF spend, campaign performance, partner engagement, pipeline indicators, conversion signals and lessons learned. Support monthly and quarterly reviews with concise, consistent reporting that helps the team understand what is working, where partners need support, and where investment should be adjusted.

Success measurements

  • Execution of AMER Regional Partner marketing plans aligned to Pod priorities, regional growth opportunities and PAM-supported partner plans.

  • MDF activity consistently tied to expected outcomes, appropriate activity types, partner readiness and measurable ROI indicators.

  • Baseline ROI reporting established and used to educate PAMs and partners on best practices and improved investment decisions.

  • Two US EPSE or EPTE events per quarter are supported and delivered with strong partner/distributor attendance, clear follow-up and measurable engagement.

  • Improved consistency of partner advocacy pages, brand presence, partner website content and scalable activation assets across regional partners.

  • PAMs and partners have clearer guidance on partner marketing best practices, lead follow-up, demand generation tactics and MDF expectations.

  • Regional partner marketing activity is reported consistently through standard dashboards, QBR inputs or management review materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Min. 2 years of experience in channel, field, regional, partner, demand generation or B2B technology marketing. Experience in networking, SaaS, infrastructure, VAR, MSP, SI, reseller or distribution ecosystems is preferred.

  • Strong execution orientation with the ability to manage multiple partner activities, timelines, stakeholders and deliverables at the same time.

  • Experience supporting MDF, co-marketing, partner campaigns, regional events, demand generation programmes, enablement or partner activation activities.

  • Comfortable working with sales stakeholders and partner-facing teams, including PAMs, field sellers, regional leaders and partner marketing contacts.

  • Commercially minded and metrics-aware, with the ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline, funnel creation, partner engagement, conversion and ROI.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex priorities into clear partner-facing or internal guidance.

  • Project management discipline, attention to detail, follow-through and comfort operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Sigma, PRM/MDF platforms, partner portals, Microsoft 365 and AI-assisted productivity tools is desirable.

  • Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to build repeatable processes that improve how regional partner marketing is planned, executed and measured.
