Lead design and delivery of U.S. SAP ECP payroll solutions: gather requirements, configure payroll schemas/PCRs, ensure tax and benefits compliance, design integrations, document configurations, and provide training and mentorship across multiple client projects.
Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP Solution Payroll Architect with strong, hands-on expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). This role supports multiple ongoing projects, providing configuration, problem-solving, and direct delivery for U.S. payroll solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to gather requirements and design scalable SAP ECP solutions.
- Configure and support payroll schemas, rules, calculations, time management, and integration points.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. payroll, tax, and benefits requirements.
- Design and support integrations between EC, EC Payroll, and third-party systems.
- Document system configuration, business processes, and testing activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentorship to clients and team members.
- Stay current with SAP releases, best practices, and certifications.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless module integration.
Requirements
- 7+ years SAP HCM / SuccessFactors experience with deep, hands-on ECP expertise.
- Proven experience configuring payroll schemas, PCRs, and rules.
- Strong understanding of U.S. payroll architecture, data flow, and compliance.
- Background in client-facing consulting with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications (Employee Central and/or Talent modules).
- International ECP implementation experience.
- Experience with replication configuration, logging, and analysis.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC Benefits integration.
- ABAP skills and/or experience leading teams or projects.
