The Software Engineer role involves contributing to the planning and execution of software development for new features, including the design, deployment, and operation of cloud-based services.

- Balancing the prioritization of new feature development with the resolution of technical debt
- The ideal candidate consistently upholds high standards in writing scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code, incorporating unit tests, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices
- Collaboration with user representatives and cross-functional engineering teams is essential to define requirements and implement necessary modifications
- The role also requires proactive engagement with other teams to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth delivery
- Demonstrating leadership through technical expertise, the candidate is expected to drive innovation and continuously identify opportunities for improvement to enhance team responsiveness and adaptability

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in building complex, highly scalable, performant, secure, reliable software systems in cloud-native environment and tools
- 3+ years of hand-on experience and solid knowledge in .NET, React, Non-SQL such as Couchbase, GKE and NGINX, as well as microservices
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficiency with TDD and CI/CD processes
- Proven sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
- Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architecture
- Understanding of data modeling and database theory (ACID, CAP etc.)
- Experience in the healthcare industry working with DICOM, HL7, FHIR
- Knowledge and experience working in Public Cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience designing, creating, and securing APIs; Web Services (REST/JSON), OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, gRPC
