Job Summary:

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Test Automation Engineers to support and drive high-quality testing for Salesforce projects, specifically focusing on Sales & Service Cloud CRM applications. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise with Provar, Salesforce low-code/no-code functionalities, and basic scripting/coding skills. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot / Claude Code as a coding assistant is essential to streamline test case generation, test data setup, and other coding and automation tasks.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
  • Advises immediate management on project-level issues
  • Guides junior engineers
  • Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
  • Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation scripts and frameworks using Provar.

  • Create robust test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing across the Sales & Service Cloud CRM application.

  • Utilize Salesforce with low-code/no-code capabilities for validations, process flows, and other testing activities.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce development teams to ensure testing aligns with platform customizations and configurations.


Test Case Management

  • Generate complex and reusable test cases using GitHub Copilot / Claude Code as an assistant for scripting and automation tasks.

  • Leverage GitHub Copilot / Claude Code for efficient test environment setup and test data creation.


Performance Monitoring & Improvement

  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve testing accuracy and speed.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on test workflows, coverage, and validation results using collaborative tools.


Collaboration & Agile Support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Business Analysts.

  • Contribute to agile sprint planning to define automation testing deliverables, timelines, and strategies.


Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software development with coding and Test Automation.

  • Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Provar, including handling advanced automation scenarios.

  • Basic coding and scripting skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot / Claude Code to optimize test case generation and automation workflows.

  • Salesforce Knowledge

  • Good understanding of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud CRM functionalities and configurations.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce low-code/no-code platforms for workflows and validations.

  • Testing & Automation Tools

  • Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks is a plus (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).

  • Experience with version control and CI/CD systems such as GitHub, Copado, or similar.

  • Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration with stakeholders.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Primary Location | Pay Range:

Austin, Texas | ($130,500.00 - $193,600.00 Annually)

Additional Location(s) | Pay Range:

San Jose, California | ($143,500.00 - $212,850.00 Annually)

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
