The Marketing Team at Shield AI is hiring a 3D Artist who will create visually stunning, cinematic 3D content that brings our technology and mission to life. You are a creative problem solver with a strong sense of design, composition, lighting, and storytelling. You will build 3D environments, motion sequences, and visual effects that communicate complex ideas through high-quality visuals that align with Shield AI’s brand and aesthetic.
You will collaborate closely with motion designers, video editors and marketing partners to craft immersive visuals for campaigns, product explainers, and digital experiences. You are fluent in Unreal Engine or Cinema 4D and have a solid understanding of 3D asset creation, materials, lighting, and rendering. You balance creative exploration with technical precision, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are comfortable taking projects from concept to final delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who blends artistic vision with technical craft and is excited to shape the future of Shield AI’s 3D storytelling.
What You'll Do
- Create cinematic 3D visuals, animations, and environments using Unreal Engine or Cinema 4D.
- Design and execute high-quality renders that communicate complex concepts clearly and beautifully.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop visuals for campaigns, product stories, and social content.
- Maintain Shield AI’s brand consistency across all 3D and motion deliverables.
- Optimize scenes for efficient rendering and performance across multiple platforms.
- Contribute to development of the internal 3D asset library, templates, and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver on tight production timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of professional experience in 3D design, animation, or visualization.
- Expert proficiency in Unreal Engine and/or Cinema 4D.
- Strong understanding of lighting, materials, composition, and camera movement.
- Experience creating cinematic visuals for marketing, product, or brand storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Photoshop.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced creative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rendering engines such as Octane, Redshift, or Unreal Lumen.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling, texturing, and asset optimization workflows.
- Experience working within aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of compositing, color grading, and post-production workflows.
