We’re looking for an AI Product Owner to lead Gong’s internal AI strategy — identifying high-impact opportunities where AI can streamline workflows, elevate decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role will sit at the intersection of technology, operations, and innovation — helping Gong shape how AI amplifies our internal productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Own the internal AI vision and roadmap.
Define Gong’s internal AI strategy across Generative and Agentic technologies, ensuring alignment with our broader product and business goals. - Drive AI discovery and implementation.
Partner with stakeholders across all dimensions of the business to identify and prioritize where AI can deliver value — from process automation to intelligent assistance. - Lead tool evaluation and management.
Scan, assess, and recommend emerging AI tools and platforms. Manage relationships with AI vendors and oversee administration and governance. - Partner on AI development.
Collaborate with internal development teams on the design, testing, and deployment of internal AI agents and copilots that boost productivity and insight. - Measure impact.
Define success metrics for AI initiatives, track adoption and performance, and communicate outcomes and learnings across the organization. - Champion responsible AI use.
Promote ethical, secure, and transparent adoption of AI technologies within Gong’s culture and systems. - Partner with internal security.
Work with our internal security organization to ensure we are following best practices, are compliant, and have robust security mechanisms in place to protect AI infrastructure.
- 10–12 years of experience in product management, AI/automation leadership, IT strategy, or related roles — with a track record of driving impactful technology initiatives.
- Proven success driving AI or automation initiatives that delivered tangible business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of AI trends, including LLMs, GenAI, Agentic frameworks, and prompt-based systems.
- Experience with modern AI stacks, such as OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Azure, CoPilot or similar ecosystems.
- Cross-functional leadership - able to align stakeholders, translate needs into technical direction, and execute in a fast-moving environment.
- Analytical and organized mindset, with the ability to define metrics, track impact, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $140,000 - $192,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
