At Stryker, our Project Design team delivers thousands of operating room and critical care layouts each year, supporting clinicians and sales teams nationwide. As a Staff Project Designer, you will lead the development of highly detailed, parametric Revit models that directly impact surgical workflow, patient safety, and construction outcomes.
This is not a drafting role — it’s a technical design position requiring deep Revit expertise, systems thinking, and strong cross-functional communication.

What You Will Do
- Develop complex operating room and critical care layouts using advanced Revit modeling techniques
- Create and maintain parametric, formula-driven Revit families, including nested components and configurable equipment systems
- Maintain and enhance Revit templates, standards, shared parameters, and documentation workflows
- Produce high-quality drawing packages and presentation-ready visualizations
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Engineering, and Architects to refine layouts and resolve constraints
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to other designers
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance in all design deliverables
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma with six years of relevant CAD experience, or associate degree with four years, or bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of professional experience using Revit in a production environment
- Demonstrated experience building and modifying complex Revit families
- Strong understanding of parametric modeling principles
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating in remote or cross-functional environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or commercial construction experience
- Experience developing Revit standards, templates, or content libraries
- Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows
- Experience with visualization workflows
- Experience with SolidWorks or other parametric modeling tools

- USN: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
- US5: $81,600 - $136,000 USD Annual
- US10: $85,500 - $142,500 USD Annual
- US15: $89,400 - $148,900 USD Annual
- US20: $93,200 - $155,400 USD Annual
- US30: $101,000 - $168,400 USD Annual
