Staffing & Human Resources Coordinator

East Houston Medical Center is expanding and seeking a professional, highly organized, and dependable Staffing & Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for a strong yet graceful professional who consistently transforms issues into thoughtful, practical solutions while maintaining a calm and polished demeanor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and update daily and weekly staffing schedules for all departments.
  • Track attendance, call‑offs, PTO, and schedule changes; prepare reports for leadership as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for schedule questions and staffing-related communication, responding with poise and solution-focused thinking.
  • Maintain fully compliant, audit-ready employee files (licenses, certifications, evaluations, mandatory trainings, and other required documentation) with zero tolerance for missing, expired, or incomplete records.
  • Ensure confidential handling and secure storage of all employee documents and records.
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including file maintenance and basic compliance documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, or Business Management preferred.
  • Very organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn problems into solutions with professionalism, maturity, and tact.
  • High initiative and strong follow-through; works well with minimal supervision.
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Computer savvy, comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR/scheduling systems.
