In this role, you will guide and inspire our on-premise team while driving success for some of the world’s most iconic and premium spirits. What You Can Expect

  • Leadership:

    • Mentor and lead the team to excel and prepare for future growth, regularly engaging to review performance, provide feedback, and implement development plans.

    • Ensure understanding and prioritization of key goals, and conduct monthly meetings to maintain alignment and consistency.

  • Planning & Analysis:

    • Manage and build brand sales/marketing plans and budgets to meet or exceed net sales targets. Lead strategic business decisions within the state, and with the support of the GM, Operations, and Finance team, build and communicate commercial plans to Distributor Leadership, agreeing on objectives, targets, priorities, and budgets.

    • Lead pricing strategies with a long-term outlook, analyze and plan channel business across chain, independent, on-premise, and casino sectors. Evaluate and adjust plans based on market performance, monitor competitive, consumer, and pricing activity, and make necessary changes. Serve as a local conduit for NRA programming and execution, and lead TPS review meetings with distributors.

  • Distributor & Agency Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact with distributor leadership, collaborating with General Sales Managers and Managing Directors for oversight of business management and execution. Execute all commercial and chain plans with the distributor team, holding them accountable to agreed-upon targets and goals.

    • Monitor and measure the performance of all distributor activities affecting B-F brands. Reconcile and consistently manage distributor investment, brand spending, and brand activity support.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: Seasoned sales professional with a minimum of 5 years of on-premise experience within the beverage alcohol industry with demonstrated success in meeting key metrics and demonstrated knowledge of on and off premise business and three-tier distribution system.

  • Leadership: Excellent manager and developer of people, with a demonstrated commitment to providing regular, constructive feedback to business partners, strong coaching ability, and the capacity to objectively assess both skills and potential. Must have people management experience and the ability to build and sustain effective, results-producing teams within the state, across business functions, and with business partners.

  • Action-Oriented and Organized: Responds in a timely and effective manner to business issues and opportunities, while being highly organized and capable of meeting multiple deadlines and juggling multiple projects.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient with office applications such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Travel: Must be able and willing to travel (by air and car) up to 30% of the time. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Flexible Schedule: Must be able to work weekends and nights as needed to perform responsibilities of the job, including brand activations and marketing initiatives. License: Must have a valid state driver’s license.
