About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Drive new business with large organizations, owning each deal from first outreach through contract signature. Partner with colleagues in sales development and customer success to broaden relationships after the sale.
What you'll do
- Build relationships with senior leaders at target organizations, including executives and directors.
- Run your own pipeline, covering prospecting, outreach, demos, commercial terms, closing and upsell.
- Look after signed accounts during their contract period and team up with colleagues to grow them further.
- Relay customer input to shape product direction and how the offering is positioned.
- Reach and surpass assigned revenue targets.
- Attend industry events to raise visibility in the market.
- Help recruit strong new sales colleagues.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of sales experience, including closing sizable agreements with large organizations.
- Experience selling to the biggest, most strategic accounts rather than the mid-market.
- Prior annual quota of at least $1.6M in recurring software revenue.
- A consistent record of meeting and beating targets.
- Background at a very fast-growing startup rather than a large established technology vendor.
- Ability to take a deal from initial prospecting to final negotiation with senior and board-level decision makers.
- Skill in coordinating many stakeholders, 10 or more, on a single deal.
- Familiarity with multi-faceted sales that involve technical evaluation, integrations and several products.
- Self-direction and resilience in a fast-paced setting with little formal structure.
- Willingness to travel about 40% to customer sites.
