Position Title: Strategic Account Executive

Who We Are: LeagueApps is the operating system and community for youth and local sports leaders, equipping them with the technology, tools, and professional network they need to grow, scale, and play for the future. Our platform powers thousands of clubs, tournaments, leagues, camps, and facilities, serving over 10 million participants nationwide. Backed by professional leagues, teams, and athletes as investors and partners, we’re helping modernize the youth sports industry with our best-in-class SaaS platform.

We operate at the intersection of sports, technology, and community. From registration to payments to communications, our platform makes running sports seamless for organizations across the country. Beyond software, we foster a community of leaders, sharing insights on critical issues like increasing girls’ participation in sports, preventing youth injuries, and understanding how technology is shaping the future of play.

Mission-driven at our core, our purpose is to create amazing sports experiences for all. To further this mission, we founded and continue to support the FundPlay Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening sports-based youth development organizations. FundPlay helps bring meaningful sports opportunities to hundreds of thousands of underserved kids and communities every year.

Role Mission: The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for driving LeagueApps’ growth by acquiring new, high-value sports organizations and expanding our presence within existing, complex accounts. This role is focused on building and managing a self-sourced pipeline, leading full-cycle consultative sales, and developing long-term partnerships with decision-makers who run large youth and community sports organizations. What You’ll Do:

  • Own a self-sourced pipeline, generating 60–70% of opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Lead full-cycle, consultative sales for deals averaging $50K–$500K+ ACV and 3–6 month sales cycles.
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand each organization’s goals, pain points, and operational complexity.
  • Deliver tailored demos and proposals that position LeagueApps as a strategic technology and business partner.
  • Accurately forecast and manage pipeline in Salesforce, maintaining 3x+ coverage against revenue targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to ensure seamless partner handoffs and long-term success.
  • Represent LeagueApps externally at key industry events to build relationships and expand brand presence.
  • Continuously refine outbound strategy and sales process based on data, feedback, and evolving market insights.

Who You Are:

  • 6–10+ years in full-cycle B2B SaaS sales or consultative solution selling with an average deal size of $50K–$200K+ ACV. Experience in sports tech, payments, or SMB SaaS is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-source the majority of your pipeline and consistently exceed quota through disciplined outbound and relationship-based selling.
  • Skilled at managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles, navigating complex decision processes, and creating urgency through value-based selling.
  • Deep passion for sports, community, or youth development, understands the mindset and challenges of sports organizers.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and takes ownership for results.
  • Comfortably manages pipeline ratios, conversion metrics, and forecasting data; embraces accountability and continuous improvement.
