Position: Strategic Account Manager

Reports to: SVP Sales & Marketing

Department: Sales

Texada is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our team. This role reports directly to the SVP Sales & Marketing and works cross-functionally with all functions to drive customer value creation enabling increased growth and retention.

Strategic Value

As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll use your expertise and consultative selling skills to build strong executive relationships, expand customer adoption, and maximize Texada’s revenue growth. You will own renewals, expansions through user and module growth, and act as a trusted advisor on Texada’s full product portfolio. This role requires the ability to travel in the US & Canada and to engage with strategic key Texada customers.

Work Location and Travel
  • Remote, with 25% travel required (customer sites and occasional travel to Mississauga office)
  • Candidates should be authorized to work in Canada or the US without restriction or sponsorship.

How you will be contributing
  • Build executive-level relationships and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Secure cross-sell, upsell, migration, and transformation opportunities
  • Drive customer growth through strategic account planning and Mutual Action Plans
  • Deliver impactful presentations and virtual demos to decision-makers
  • Partner with clients to understand their goals, budgets, and timelines
  • Lead contract renewals, proposals, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and project milestones
  • Represent Texada at trade shows and customer events
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

What we are hoping to find in your background
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic/enterprise SaaS or Cloud sales, ideally with a focus on large, complex accounts (construction equipment industry experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus)
  • Proven track record in strategic/enterprise SaaS or Cloud sales (construction equipment industry experience a plus)
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to present complex solutions clearly
  • Experience closing complex deals with executive stakeholders
  • Competitive drive with a process-oriented and relationship-focused approach
  • Proficiency with CRM best practices and disciplined sales process execution
  • Exceptional listening, collaboration, and customer service mindset
  • Business acumen in contracts, margins, and revenue growth
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance content creation, personalize messaging, and improve workflow efficiency.
