Position OverviewWe are seeking a client-focused and commercially driven Strategic Account Manager to join our team. You will own and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact while driving retention, expansion, and long-term engagement across our research and consulting products.
This role sits at the intersection of client management, sales, and strategy. You will work directly with senior stakeholders across hedge funds, asset managers, hyperscalers, and leading AI companies—ensuring they derive maximum value from SemiAnalysis while identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships.
This is not a passive account management role—we’re looking for someone who takes ownership of relationships, understands client needs deeply, and actively drives value and revenue growth.
This role is best suited for candidates coming from customer success, sales, consulting, or investor-facing roles who enjoy owning relationships and driving commercial outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Ownership & Growth: Own a portfolio of client relationships and be responsible for retention, expansion, and long-term account development.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Customer Experience: Ensure clients receive maximum value from SemiAnalysis products by proactively improving engagement and usage.
Revenue Expansion & Renewals: Lead renewal processes and identify opportunities to expand client engagement across research, models, and consulting offerings.
Client Feedback & Insights: Gather and synthesize client feedback to inform product development, research coverage, and service improvements.
Churn Reduction: Monitor engagement and proactively identify risks, taking action to improve retention and client satisfaction.
Internal Coordination: Work closely with research analysts and consulting teams to ensure client needs are understood and addressed.
Sales Process Management: Manage account workflows in CRM systems such as HubSpot and maintain accurate tracking of client interactions and opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or client-facing roles.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to manage and grow client relationships.
Demonstrated passion for technology, particularly semiconductors and AI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Experience working with hedge funds, asset managers, or financial institutions.
Experience managing enterprise or institutional client accounts.
Familiarity with semiconductor industry trends and AI market dynamics.
Background in account management within research, consulting, or technology organizations.
Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
Direct exposure to cutting-edge semiconductor and AI market developments.
