Dexis seeks a Strategic Advisor to support business development, capture strategy, and technical solutioning across its portfolio of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) opportunities.
Dexis supports U.S. Government clients in delivering programs in complex and high-risk environments worldwide. This role will provide strategic guidance to strengthen positioning, technical approaches, and engagement strategies related to the newly formed DTRA Global Threat Reduction (GTR) Directorate and Combat Support (CZ) Directorate. As DTRA undergoes a major reorganization, the Strategic Advisor will help Dexis identify opportunities, navigate changes at DTRA, and position Dexis for success.
The position will be a part-time consultancy based remotely in the continental United States.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance on capture efforts related to DTRA GTR and/or CZ Directorates
- Advise on technical approaches for DTRA programs
- Support development and refinement of proposal content and technical narratives
- Provide insight into client priorities, stakeholder dynamics, and procurement trends
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in proposed approaches
- Support development of win themes and competitive positioning
- Review proposal drafts and provide targeted feedback
- Contribute to strengthening client engagement and market positioning
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting U.S. Government programs, including at least 5 years with DTRA
- Demonstrated skills related to business development including: opportunity qualification, capture strategy, stakeholder engagement, customer and industry collaboration, and team leadership
- Familiarity with DTRA acquisition types, processes, and tools
- Demonstrated experience providing strategic or technical advisory support
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience in security cooperation, cooperative threat reduction, CBRN, CWMD, and/or DTRA global engagements, particularly with combatant commands, highly preferred
- Experience with the GTR Directorate and/or the CZ Directorate and their predecessors strongly preferred.
