About the role
As a Strategic Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding Everway’s reach by identifying and developing new, existing, and alternative sales channels. You’ll partner closely with internal teams to grow our market presence and help shape how our solutions are brought to customers.

You’ll be supported by business specialists, product managers, and marketing, while also collaborating across the wider organization to ensure a thoughtful and effective market approach.

Your sales style is consultative, strategic, and value-driven. You build trust quickly, listen actively, and know how to navigate conversations with a range of stakeholders across different levels of an organization. You’re both persuasive and thoughtful in your approach, with a strong focus on long-term relationships.

This is a results-oriented role for someone who is proactive, forward-thinking, and motivated to make an impact. You’ll engage with both internal and external stakeholders daily, driving customer engagement and new business acquisition.

This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of winning new business and managing the full sales cycle. Travel will be required as needed.

This position supports the state of Texas, and candidates should be based in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts
  • Engage with marketing-generated leads and inbound inquiries, while also driving proactive outreach
  • Apply the MEDDPICC framework to effectively qualify opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Manage pipeline activity and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, including proposals, pricing, and closing
  • Represent Everway at virtual events and industry engagements
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Technical teams to align on customer needs
  • Contribute to team planning, strategy sessions, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive positioning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records to reflect all sales activity and customer interactions
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships while closing deals across extended sales cycles
  • Share regular updates on pipeline health, growth trends, and key wins

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within a SaaS environment
  • Proven success in generating new business and consistently hitting targets
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting through close
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Desired Criteria:

  • Experience selling digital products or services
  • Track record of driving revenue growth across multiple industries or verticals
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC framework
  • Experience building a professional brand and network through platforms like LinkedIn or Twitter
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
