The company has over 150 million vehicle coverage points in partnership with leading automobile manufacturers, insurance carriers and many others. Agero is one of the biggest brands you’ve never heard of — by design. We power the roadside and accident assistance experiences of the world’s largest insurance, automotive, and mobility brands, supporting 30,000+ drivers every day. We’re white-label so our clients’ brands can shine — but that doesn’t mean our story should be invisible.

As Agero enters its next phase of growth, we need a senior storyteller who can translate our scale, technology, and expertise into narratives that change client and consumer behavior across a complex B2B2C ecosystem.

This role sits at the center of growth marketing, product storytelling, and client engagement.

Role Description & Mission:

The Strategic Content Manager will report directly to the CMO and own how Agero’s story is told — clearly, consistently, and persuasively — across audiences, channels, and client portfolios.

You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Client Engagement, Product, and external agencies to create modular, scalable content that supports:

  • Client acquisition and renewal
  • Program adoption and usage
  • Thought leadership and brand trust
  • Discoverability in search and AI‑driven recommendation environments

This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue growth and client perception.

Near‑Term Priorities:

  1. Self‑Service Storytelling: Develop core content modules that allow client‑facing teams to easily adapt Agero’s story across a portfolio of 120+ clients.
  2. 360° Messaging System: Build integrated messaging and assets across social, press, presentations, events, and sales enablement — tailored for audiences from procurement to marketing to agencies and dealer groups.
  3. Innovation Days: Support and attend on‑client‑campus Innovation Day events (monthly US travel required), helping reposition Agero’s value marketer‑to‑marketer and beyond.
  4. Search & AI Visibility: Partner with agencies and vendors to create strategic content optimized for SEO, zero‑click search, and AI‑driven discovery — especially versus DIY solutions or AAA.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients consistently understand — and can articulate — Agero’s differentiated value
  • Increased adoption and promotion of Agero programs by clients
  • Stronger brand trust and thought‑leadership signals across channels
  • Improved discoverability when consumers search for roadside or accident assistance
  • Well‑organized content used daily by Sales and Client Engagement teams

What You'll Do:

  • Audit and simplify existing marketing and client‑facing materials into clear, modular narratives
  • Develop concise, compelling articulation of Agero’s points of differentiation
  • Plan and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns tied to products, services, and growth priorities
  • Measure campaign performance and confidently present insights to senior leadership and Board‑level audiences
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency and clarity across all storytelling
  • Partner deeply with Sales and Client Services on acquisition, renewal, upsell, cross‑sell, and at‑risk accounts
  • Develop best‑in‑class presentations, one‑pagers, case studies, and success stories
  • Mine customer and program data for insights that strengthen storytelling and positioning
Skills, Experience & Education:Skills:
  • Exceptional storytelling ability — you can explain complex ideas simply and persuasively
  • Strong B2B2C marketing instincts, especially within insurance
  • Ability to influence cross‑functionally without authority
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills (slideware, short and long form writing and video)
  • Strategic thinking paired with strong execution discipline
  • Analytical curiosity — comfortable using data to sharpen narratives and prove impact
  • Understanding of marketing economics, ROI, and performance measurement

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in marketing or client services
  • Previous Strategy Consulting experience is a plus
  • Proven experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Ability to create clear, compelling slides and a natural storyteller
  • Familiarity with B2B or B2B2C marketing, especially consumer / buyer journeys

Why This Role Is Different

You’re not just creating content — you’re shaping how the market understands Agero. This role blends strategy, storytelling, enablement, and growth marketing, with a direct line to the CMO and real influence on how the business scales.

If you love building narratives that move markets — not just fill channels — this role is for you.
