We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to serve as a key business partner to leadership, driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role goes beyond traditional finance functions to provide actionable insights that shape our company's direction and growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting You'll own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis. You'll build and maintain comprehensive financial models covering revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash flow. A critical part of this role involves analyzing performance versus plan and proactively communicating risks and opportunities to leadership.

Headcount & Cost Management You'll take ownership of headcount planning and tracking across the entire company, working closely with functional leaders on hiring plans and resource allocation. You'll manage vendor spend, implement cost controls, and drive efficiency initiatives that optimize our resource deployment.

Revenue & Go-To-Market Finance Partnering closely with the Sales team, you'll forecast revenue and analyze the client pipeline to provide visibility into future performance. You'll support deal sizing, pricing decisions, and margin analysis while continuously working to improve forecast accuracy and visibility across bookings and revenue.

Product / Content Finance You'll partner with Product and Content teams to understand roadmap priorities and translate them into financial impact. You'll analyze the ROI of content and product investments, helping leadership make informed decisions about where to allocate resources for maximum value creation.

Executive, Investor & Board Reporting You'll own the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive reporting packages, ensuring leadership has the information they need to run the business effectively. You'll prepare investor updates and Board of Directors materials, and support the CFO in executive, investor, and Board discussions.

Analytics & Ad Hoc Support You'll develop and track key business KPIs that matter most to our success, building dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility. You'll provide ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives, serving as a go-to resource for questions that require deep financial thinking.

Qualifications

Required

  • 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, or banking
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or technology-enabled company, healthcare is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills with proven ability to build robust, scalable models
  • Experience partnering with Sales and operating leaders to drive business outcomes
  • Experience preparing executive, investor, and Board-level reporting
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and financial modeling experience
