Founded in 2023, we have worked with 50+ clients, including $500M+ in transactions. As a Strategic Finance Principal, you will play a critical role in shaping strategies for our diverse client base. The position offers an opportunity to engage in a wide array of projects, from financial modeling and cash management to M&A and Fundraising transaction support. You will work closely with executive teams, providing actionable recommendations to enhance business performance and support strategic decision making.

What You’ll Do:

  • Clearly and succinctly tell the “story” of a business using financial and operational data

  • Engage in C-suite and executive-level conversations to share strategic advice and recommendations

  • Create detailed operating models that provide insights into profitability, cash flow, and capital structure

  • Develop financial metrics for unit economics, working capital management, and investment ROI

  • Manage key corporate development initiatives including equity/debt fundraising and M&A

  • Implement process automation and improvements to streamline financial operations

  • Oversee external service providers to drive cross-functional deliverables

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Independent critical thinker and entrepreneurial; you’re always looking for creative solutions

  • Excellent communication skills with an appreciation for internal vs. client facing tone

  • Proficient in Excel with a strong analytical background

    • Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a bonus

    • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) is also advantageous

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree

Location: Based in New York City, with a hybrid work environment (open to in-person 2-4x/week)

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $165,000 - $200,000 NYC

  • Significant variable cash bonus opportunities

  • Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include variable pay or other types of compensation, where applicable
