About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Implementation Manager to serve as a senior forward-deployed domain expert — an embedded partner for our most complex, highest-stakes enterprise accounts. Think of this as a supercharged implementation role: fewer accounts, far greater depth, and direct, high-impact ownership of the relationships that matter most to Syndio. Rather than managing a large portfolio of clients, you will go deep with a small, focused set of strategic accounts, acting as their trusted advisor from onboarding through long-term workplace-equity maturity.

These are our most demanding, global, and influential customers — organizations whose success defines the category and whose executive stakeholders you'll partner with daily. Your job is to be the primary expert in the room who deeply understands pay and workplace equity, runs and interprets complex analyses, speaks the language of compensation and total rewards, and translates these concepts into measurable, global-scale outcomes.

Why this job is exciting
  • Own Syndio's most strategic accounts end to end, serving as the embedded, high-touch expert on a focused portfolio of two to three complex enterprise customers at a time.
  • Partner daily with senior customer stakeholders — VPs of Total Rewards, compensation leaders, and executive sponsors — as a credible peer who speaks their language.
  • Bring real domain depth: run and interpret pay equity analyses, guide compensation and total-rewards conversations, and advise customers on workplace equity strategy — not just software configuration.
  • Lead complex, multi-product implementations and migrations, including work such as Data Hub migrations, Decisions rollouts, and readiness for regulations like the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
  • Operate at global scale, navigating multi-region org structures, stakeholder maps, and the unique requirements of the world's largest employers.
  • Deliver "Value Realization" storytelling that helps these flagship customers recognize milestones and the tangible ROI of their workplace-equity journey.
  • Serve as the prototype for a new, high-touch expert model at Syndio — shaping how we support (and potentially package) forward-deployed expertise for our most critical accounts.
  • Partner with Product, Revenue Marketing, and Engineering to represent these customers' voice and turn what you learn into playbooks that scale.
About you
  • You have deep domain expertise in pay equity, compensation, or total rewards — you can perform a pay equity analysis, interpret the results, and hold your own in a conversation with a compensation or total-rewards leader.
  • You have significant experience implementing or managing enterprise SaaS customers, ideally the largest, most complex, and most demanding accounts in a portfolio.
  • You bring strong project management and project-planning skills, and can drive structure and momentum across long, high-stakes engagements.
  • You are comfortable operating at global scale and navigating large, matrixed, multi-region organizations.
  • You are credible and confident with senior stakeholders, and can build trusted-advisor relationships at the VP and executive level.
  • You may have prior people-leadership experience that you can carry into an individual-contributor role — you're excited to go deep on the work itself rather than manage a team.
  • You are passionate about our mission to close pay and opportunity gaps and create fairness in the workplace.
  • You thrive with autonomy and ambiguity, and bring empathy, calm, and confidence to help demanding customers succeed.
  • You are proactive and organized — always two steps ahead of what these accounts need next.
Why you'll love it here:
  • 💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $130-145k per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.
  • 🏆  Syndio Equity. So you can share in Syndio’s success.
  • 🏝  Flexible Vacation Policy. We encourage our team to recharge when they need to, plus paid sick & safe time, compassion leave, and voting leave.
  • 🩺  Medical, Dental, Vision. Syndio pays 90% of employee premiums, and 50% for dependents.
  • 🏥  Life Insurance & Disability. Syndio covers the full premium.
  • 🏦 401(k). To help you save for your future
  • 📍Remote within the U.S., East Coast (ET) preferred to effectively support our global clients.- #LI-Remote
Role progression
  • Within 1 month, you'll have completed onboarding, built a deep understanding of your assigned strategic account(s), and mapped their stakeholders, goals, and open needs.
  • Within 3 months, you'll be leading customer conversations independently, running domain-level work such as pay equity analyses, and owning the implementation roadmap for your account(s).
  • Within 6 months, you'll be the trusted expert and primary point of contact for your strategic account(s), driving measurable value and helping define how Syndio delivers high-touch, forward-deployed expertise going forward.
