Position Summary

AFC Industries is seeking a Commercial Growth Manager to help drive strategic sales growth initiatives across its Components, Tooling, and Aerospace & Defense business segments.

This role serves as a key link between sales, marketing, operations, and business leadership to improve commercial execution, strengthen market positioning, and support growth initiatives across North America.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, and capable of turning strategy into execution. This is not a traditional marketing role focused primarily on digital campaigns or creative development. Instead, this role focuses on helping AFC grow through stronger sales enablement, business unit alignment, customer-facing programs, and market-focused commercial initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role within a fast-moving industrial distribution and manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities


Commercial Growth Initiatives

  • Support strategic growth initiatives across AFC’s Components, Tooling, and Aerospace & Defense segments
  • Partner with business unit leaders and sales leadership to identify growth opportunities, target markets, and commercial priorities
  • Assist in developing vertical market campaigns and customer-focused growth programs
  • Help identify cross-selling opportunities across AFC business units and acquired companies
  • Support commercialization efforts related to acquisitions, new capabilities, and strategic initiatives

Sales Enablement & Commercial Support

  • Develop and maintain sales presentations, customer-facing materials, case studies, and strategic account tools
  • Support Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) and major customer presentations
  • Build segment-specific messaging and sales tools aligned to customer pain points and operational value
  • Improve consistency and accessibility of commercial materials across the organization
  • Coordinate support for trade shows, customer visits, and commercial meetings

Market Intelligence & Commercial Insights

  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to support growth initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities within key manufacturing verticals
  • Help translate CRM and marketing data into actionable commercial insights
  • Support account targeting and whitespace identification efforts

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership teams
  • Help align messaging, commercial priorities, and growth initiatives across business units
  • Coordinate execution of strategic commercial programs from concept through launch
  • Assist with internal communication initiatives tied to commercial strategy and growth

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in commercial marketing, business development, sales enablement, or related commercial roles
  • Experience within industrial distribution, manufacturing, tooling, fasteners, aerospace, or technical B2B industries strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting sales organizations and customer-facing commercial initiatives
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, or similar systems
