We're seeking an experienced, ambitious Strategy Director who wants the freedom to put their mark on a variety of projects, from global brand campaigns to product innovation and launches. In this role, you’ll work as strategic lead on large and small accounts in addition to new business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the strategic direction with internal and external teams in relation to our clients' brand development and marketing approach
  • Be a key voice pushing our teams in evolutionary thinking surrounding client brands and culture
  • Champion innovation as a brand-building platform internally and for with our clients
  • Develop research processes and data collection algorithms that lead to the logical or illogical insights needed to reach relevant brand value
  • Analyze a wealth of data points to uncover succinct human truths and predictive behavioral patterns
  • Use insights from behavioral economics and related fields to influence products, services, and campaigns
  • Design, conduct, and analyze experiments to determine the most impactful strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Strategically apply findings of human decision-making to all aspects of our work
  • Manage research relationships and collaborations with numerous external research and academic groups
  • Conduct behavioral diagnosis to serve as a focal point for brand partnerships
  • Teach and explain scientific research to clients and ensure behavioral science theory is adopted by them
  • Mentor strategists and researchers, building a sustainable and growing culture across these teams

Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in Strategy positions in creative agency environments
  • Exceptional writing skills and conceptual thinking, with a knack for great storytelling
  • Inspirational project management and leadership skills
  • Track record of successful new business wins
  • Proven ability to design consumer research exercises and manage large data analysis operations
  • Record of applying your research skills to create product and business impact
  • Understanding of behavioral economics cognitive process including heuristics and biases, cognitive motivations including explicit and implicit motivational territories
  • History of leveraging audience segmentation to build customer strategies
  • Strong analytical thinking with exceptional research abilities
  • Deep knowledge of media-centric tools such as Comscore, MRI, Google Analytics, as well as social listening and predictive platforms like Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, etc
  • Experience with traditional qualitative and quantitative marketing research techniques
  • Exemplary work ethic, excellent organization and superb communication skills
