About Abode Money

Abode Money is an AI fintech startup helping homeowners automate savings on property taxes, energy, insurance, and more. We use proprietary agentic AI to simplify data retrieval, parsing, analysis, and decisioning to optimize costs on behalf of homeowners.

There’s a home affordability crisis happening with the cost of owning a home rising 50%+ in the last 5 years alone - yet there’s no current solution out there for homeowners to manage these rising costs.

Abode Money is the financial manager for homeowners by offering a “no-brainer” solution where we proactively manage and automate savings on an ongoing basis. Onboarding takes less than 60 seconds, and our users are saving $2,512 per year.

Our competitors are slow and people-intensive. We have the benefit of having started Abode Money in a “post-AI world”, meaning we layer AI into both our foundational technology and core business functions. Our team operates with a bias for action and a scrappy, resourceful mindset.

We’re backed by Tier 1 investors, including Core VC, Drive Capital, Sequoia Capital, Goodwater, and The 81 Collection.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: Make homeownership more affordable for everyday homeowners.

We’re leveraging AI to bring more transparency and less friction to home financial services. Our goal is to be the first place every homeowner goes to make any decision related to homeownership. Abode Money will be to homeowners what Zillow is to homebuyers.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Strategy & Ops Manager to spearhead new initiatives, launch new markets, and drive operational excellence. This role is for a true owner who thrives in ambiguity, rolls up their sleeves, and takes problems from ideation all the way through execution with little oversight.

You’ll be at the center of Abode Money’s growth strategy - designing systems, scaling operations, and ensuring that our financial platform for homeowners works seamlessly and expands rapidly.

  • Launch & Scale: Develop and execute go-to-market and operational launch plans for Abode Money in new markets and product verticals.
  • Problem-Solve & Execute: Take ambiguous challenges, design creative solutions, and own execution from start to finish.
  • Optimize Operations: Build and refine processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability as we grow.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze operational and financial data to surface insights, drive strategic decisions, and improve the homeowner experience.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product, engineering, customer success, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Experiment & Iterate: Pilot new initiatives, measure outcomes, and scale what works.
  • Be Hands-On: Jump into the weeds — whether it’s process design, user onboarding, or vendor negotiations to keep the business moving forward.
Who You Are
  • A natural owner who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes pride in building from 0 → 1.
  • Strategic and analytical, but also scrappy enough to dive into details and execute with hyperspeed.
  • Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and adjusting quickly as you learn.
  • A strong communicator who can influence stakeholders and rally cross-functional teams.
  • Biased toward action, with grit, hustle, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, STEM, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or high-growth startups.
  • Track record of taking projects from idea to execution independently.
  • Proficiency with data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL a plus).
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
Our Values in Action
  • Customer Empathy First - Every design choice should remove friction and build trust with homeowners.
  • Hustle, Grit, and Scrappiness - We move fast and make things happen without bloated teams or slow processes.
  • AI & Automation - AI isn’t just a buzzword here. We use it to accelerate execution and scale impact.
  • Build Trust Early and Often - Home finance is high-stakes. Our creative must feel reliable, transparent, and human
