THE ROLE:

  • Project-based work across Pre-Sales, Sales, and Post-Sales with specific goals that can be added to your portfolio

  • Holistic understanding of how advertising revenue drives success in a fast-paced, performance-driven OTT sports media company

  • Have a dedicated supervisor/mentor (SVP, Ads & Client Partnerships) to guide and challenge you throughout the program

  • Learn the full advertising lifecycle: market research, prospecting, media planning, proposal development, campaign activation, analytics, and renewal strategy

  • Gain exposure to all five 2026 company priorities through cross-functional collaboration with Video, Product, Brand, and AI teams

  • Leverage enterprise AI tools—including ChatGPT Enterprise, SalesForce, SponsorUnited, MediaRadar and Canva—as daily workflow accelerators across research, content creation, analysis, and client deliverables

  • This internship is available from late May through end of July (approximately 10 weeks)

  • Seeking a minimum availability of 25–30 hours/week

  • This is a paid internship, offering $18/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Sales

  • Use ChatGPT Enterprise to conduct competitive research on peer OTT sports media companies and their ad products, pricing, and packaging

  • Research and qualify prospective advertising partners; build prospect profiles and outreach strategies

  • Assist in building media plans, pricing models, and proposal decks using Canva and Google Slides

  • Support RFP responses and custom advertising package development

Sales

  • Shadow and participate in live client presentations and pitch meetings

  • Learn negotiation techniques and how to address common client objections

  • Support the development of insertion orders (IOs), deal terms, and contract workflows

  • Collaborate with sales leadership on pipeline strategy and account planning

Post-Sales

  • Monitor active campaign pacing, delivery metrics, and optimization opportunities

  • Use ChatGPT Enterprise to identify data patterns and draft optimization recommendations

  • Build post-campaign recap decks in Canva with client-facing analytics and insights

  • Draft client communications summarizing results and recommending next steps

  • Contribute to renewal strategy discussions informed by performance data

Cross-Functional & Cross-Priority Exposure

  • Maintain CRM records and pipeline documentation in Salesforce

  • Collaborate with the Video Experience team to understand streaming ad insertion and its impact on the fan viewing experience

  • Engage with the Product team to learn how sports data creates ad targeting and sponsorship opportunities

  • Work with the Brand team to ensure all client-facing materials reflect FloSports’ premium brand standards

  • Attend live FloSports events to observe ad integration and sponsorship activations in real time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong interest in sports media, digital advertising, media sales, or a related field

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Sports Management, or a related discipline

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Analytical mindset; comfortable working with data, dashboards, and performance metrics

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience using ChatGPT or comparable AI assistant for research, writing, or analysis a plus

  • Experience using Canva for presentations, graphics, or branded materials a plus

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) a plus

  • Exposure to ad-serving platforms (GAM/DFP, FreeWheel) or programmatic advertising a plus

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to work 25–30 hours per week from late May through end of July
