What's the Short Version?

The Supervisor, Sales Operations directly oversees and coordinates the activities of employees by providing training on policies, procedures, and effective communication. The role ensures that each team member meets job requirements through coaching and support. Core responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work. The Supervisor, Sales Operations will also be evaluating performance, recognizing and developing employees, and addressing complaints or resolving issues.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Supervise a team that provides continuous training and guidance to Inside Sales.
  • Apply professional expertise and company objectives to resolve complex issues with creativity and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for aligning their team with the department, functional and company goals and guiding principles.
  • Monitor daily operations of team including but not limited to productivity, accuracy, service level offered to internal customers, attendance, and call monitoring.
  • Facilitate Inside Sales 360 Focus Groups, including follow-up communication and distribution of meeting notes.
  • Review feedback, concerns, and call reasons to identify and share opportunities for improved communication and training.
  • Provide Inside Sales Support training to new team members and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with Sales Training to establish best practices/procedures for various programs and job functions.
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Operations leadership to support decisions that shape the department’s direction.
  • Ensure team members are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes, or actions.
  • Tailor coaching style to their individual team members using the different methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results as trained.
  • Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and meet with team members by scheduled deadlines.
  • Continuously assess and improve policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 4-6 years of leadership experience in sales or sales operations
  • 1-3 years Inside Sales experience
  • Comfortable adopting new systems and tools
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments for their team
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to complete department deliverables
  • Displays a high level of business acumen
  • Works well in a team environment and contributes to building a positive team spirit
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work with and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change and complexity

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $32.56 - $43.27 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.


Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.


Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. 
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
