Key Responsibilities

  • Aligns and implements commodity strategies.
  • Manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.
  • Engages with the PLC and/or Refurb Funnel processes to ensure alignment with the commodity strategies.
  • Develops refurb supply chain solutions
  • Engages new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the Applied Materials supply base.
  • Support resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–7 years in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain roles—preferably in the semiconductor or equipment manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex supply chains and spare parts processes.
  • Comfortable with legal agreements, pricing structures, and supplier contracts.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
