Location of position: Allen, TX. 
 

As our Supplier Quality Engineer, you will execute operational SQM activities at KONE suppliers, providing leadership to suppliers and support internal stakeholders across teams such as Sourcing, Supply Lines, Technology, Modernization, Spares, Major Projects and Installation. You’ll also conduct supplier audits in line with the annual plan and manage the Quality Annex within the Supply and Purchasing Frame Agreement in collaboration with the KONE Contract Owner. Lastly, you will participate in PD/CR projects to ensure supplier launch readiness through activities such as risk management (FMEA), Critical-to Quality (CtQ), and change management (KPPAP).  

You will bring 2+ years of progressive and successful experience in engineering, manufacturing, processes & methods, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain management, and sourcing (or other related fields) to KONE.  At minimum, you must have B.SC level technical STEM / quality / industrial engineering degree. 8 years of related experience also works in lieu of degree.  

Other Listed Duties: 

  • Auditing of suppliers and Supplier performance management 

  • ISO 9001/14001/18001/45001 

  • Methods and tools related to (supplier) quality management such as quality control plans, Critical to Quality, Statistical Process Control, Failure-Mode-Effect Analysis, DMAIC Methodology, Six Sigma and Lean, Mistake proofing 

  • In-depth knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and TS16949 standard, methodology and tools (required).

  • Root cause corrective action and preventive action experience within a manufacturing setting (required)

  • Stakeholder and contract management skills

Annual Base Pay Range: 

The hiring range for this role is $87,300 – $114,555.  The compensation package offered will depend on candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.    

 
Variable Compensation 

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 10% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
