Job Description

If you are most comfortable maintaining a planning cycle someone else designed, this role is not for you. If you get energized by diagnosing a broken process, building a solution, and making it stick — keep reading.

What You Will Do

Lead Projects, Not Just Support Them

  • Own supply chain and operations projects from diagnosis to implementation — defining scope, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, and delivering results that last.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across commercial, manufacturing, finance, and logistics teams. You know how to build consensus and keep things moving.

Think in Business Impact

  • Translate operational complexity into business decisions. Your value is not the analysis — it is what you recommend based on it and how you get stakeholders to act on it.
  • Build the KPIs, do not just track them. You define what good looks like, set the metrics, and create visibility for leadership.

Design Better Processes

  • Improve planning processes across S&OP, demand, and supply planning — building frameworks and governance that teams can sustain after you are done.
  • Identify root causes, not just symptoms.

Go Deep When It Matters

  • When a project requires hands-on data work, system configuration, or operational analysis in the ERP or the APS, you do it, not because it is expected, but because it solves the problem faster.
  • Use Power BI or equivalent tools to visualize findings and communicate insights to different audiences.

Communicate With Clarity

  • Whether it is a steering committee or a planning team, you know how to frame a message for your audience.
  • Deliver structured presentations, reports, and dashboards that drive decisions — not just inform.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or consulting — with a track record of leading projects, not just supporting them.
  • Depth in at least one area: S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Master Data Management, or Operations — and the curiosity to engage across all of them.
  • consultant's mindset: you frame problems before jumping to solutions. You think in terms of business impact, not task completion.
  • Demonstrated project management capability — you have structured and delivered cross-functional initiatives. PMP is a plus, but results matter more.
  • Analytical fluency — you are comfortable with data and use it to build arguments, not just reports.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP and/or APS — you do not need to be a configurator, but you need to understand how these systems shape planning decisions. SAP and/or Kinaxis will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms) and an ability to apply them to improve analysis, streamline processes, and enhance delivery outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder communication — written, verbal, and visual. You can present to a VP and work with a planner on the same day.

You Will Fit in If...

  • You have worked in or alongside pharma, biotech, or life sciences environments (preferred, not required).
  • You have navigated global or matrix organizations and know how to get things done without direct authority.
  • You have been part of an end-to-end supply chain transformation — and can speak to what made it work.
