Abatix is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our purchasing team at our corporate office in Mesquite, TX! The Supply Chain Coordinator maintains the ticketing system, expedites purchase orders and coordinates with internal teams and external suppliers to maximize customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, tech savvy and has great attention to detail.
Pay rate: $23+
Job Description
- Manage the ZenDesk system, distributing and prioritizing tickets
- Maintain the ERP system by tracking orders and making updates
- Expedite purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers and internal staff (warehouse, customer service, accounting) to ensure everyone is on the same page
- Run reports to assess past-due orders
- Resolve purchasing discrepancies with vendors
Job Requirements
- High school diploma is required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication via phone, email or one-on-one conversation
- Proficient in multitasking and changing direction quickly and often
- Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office, 50+ wpm typing speed)
- Epicor Prophet 21 experience is highly preferred
- Strong customer service mindset
