Job Summary: 

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all supply chain activities including demand planning, sourcing, inventory, shipping, and logistics.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with program management, engineering, quality and production operations to align sourcing decisions and supply chain management strategies with technical and schedule requirements while managing risks and opportunities
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in an environment with numerous internal customers
    • Problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
    • Resolve procurement and inventory control issues in coordination with Quality, Operations and Engineering
    • Develop and implement successful supplier risk mitigation plans to avoid risks that can have a major impact on overall program cost and schedule
  • Define and monitor supply chain team and program-level supply chain health metrics with the primary objective of identifying issues before they affect hardware delivery and secondary objective of measuring overall supply chain team performance
  • Lead, coach and develop a highly performing team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and succession planning
  • Manage material inventory processes such as cycle counting, planning parameters, capacity analysis and demand planning processes to meet USG, customer and internal requirements.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
  • 7+ years of related supply chain management leadership experience
  • Experience working in a complex regulated environment and has a basic understanding of FAR/DFARS/ITAR
  • Demonstrated progressive career development with increasing responsibilities within Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production flow, planning and inventory management, and documentation procedures
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen
  • Strategic sourcing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and setting direction for teams, including motivating, influencing and driving change at all levels of the organization
  • Clear demonstrated perspective and understanding of factors impacting the business and our suppliers
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Government contract experience, a plus.
  • EVMS experience.
  • Experience working in NetSuite and various ERP systems
