Workrise is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Intern who will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Supply Chain team. Our ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate attentiveness to details, be comfortable asking for guidance when navigating ambiguity, and adapt to changes in processes or scope of work.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and learn about vendor onboarding, contract management, compliance monitoring, and data analysis/maintenance.
Internship Details:

  • Required hybrid work schedule in our downtown Austin office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • Dates: June 3rd - August 8th


What you'll be doing:

  • Support the vendor onboarding process from initial contact to completion
  • Assist in collecting and validating vendor documentation
  • Help maintain vendor compliance records and track renewal dates
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage contracts
  • Maintain accurate vendor information in company databases
  • Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintain documentation for supply chain processes
  • Support data cleanup and organization initiatives
  • Help build and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Participate in process improvement projects and implementations
  • Attend cross-functional team meetings
  • Shadow experienced team members to learn best Supply Chain practices


What you should have:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with data entry and familiarity with Google Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience writing professional emails
  • Strong sense of time management, self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to learn


Additional experience preferred but not required:

  • Oil & Gas Industry knowledge or experience
  • Experience working with relational databases
