Tito’s Handmade Vodka is looking for a Supply Chain Planner I.  This role supports the development and maintenance of production schedules to help meet customer demand while optimizing inventory, labor, equipment, and manufacturing capacity. This role primarily supports export orders and small size domestic SKUs. The Planner I works closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate production and resolve supply chain issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the weekly production schedule and make adjustments to support on-time order fulfillment.
  • Lead weekly production meetings and coordinate follow-up actions as needed.
  • Update and maintain the IFS ERP system, including routings, product structures/BOMs, and shop orders.
  • Initiate demand in MRP (Material Requirements Planning), monitor planning results, and identify potential material or capacity issues.
  • Monitor inventory days on hand against established targets and work with Warehouse and Procurement teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Review forecasts and communicate production priorities and changes to Operations and Production teams.
  • Coordinate order expedite requests and customer order pushouts with the appropriate departments.
  • Support the resolution of production, material, and scheduling issues while communicating priorities across production teams.
  • Review historical sales data and support ABC classification of SKUs based on demand patterns.
  • Work with raw material buyers to reduce excess inventory, obsolescence, and scrap.
  • Support export planning by monitoring order requirements, production timing, inventory availability, and shipment deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications:       

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, related field, or 3 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

Functional Knowledge:

  • Understand basic principles of supplier lead time, inventory days on hand, demand variability and forecasting
  • Understand planning, capacity, and business trade offs
