True to your namesake, for every question of “what’s up,” you know exactly what’s “‘sup.” You’re a SUP-ply Planner, after all. Not only do you know the supply forecast better than any weather channel crew knows the weather, but you thrive in the eye of the storm, and are prepared for rain, shine, or enchilada sauce monsoons. The only thing you love more than seeing pretty percentages across your excel screen is seeing inventory levels maintained, adjusted, and planned for accordingly. Ahhh, serenity! You are a mover and a shaker for your keen ability to resource plan—getting things to and from—as well as your enthusiasm for building relationships with manufacturing partners. Where some people understand “POs” to stand for “purchase orders,” you think of them as your “profound obsessions.” (In either translation, you’d agree that you can never have too many.)

If this sounds like you, then our familia would love to hear from you in search of our ideal candidate for a Supply Planner!

About You

  • You don’t like to toot your own horn, but when it comes to your written and verbal communication skills, there is simply no better way to describe them other than “Schwarzenegger Strong.”

  • Like a hungry forensic scientist searching for traces of leftover breakfast tacos, you are organized and have great attention to detail.

  • Your sense of urgency is unparalleled, even if you haven't mastered parallel parking.

  • You set an alarm every morning without fail; your body clock, timers, and calendar reminders are also evidence of your fabulous time management.

  • If you could, you’d send a taco basket the size of Texas to each client-partner because  building positive relationships are important to you.

  • Numbers are your friend, maybe even your BFF.

  • Master Resource Planning is the name of your game, and you plan on winning every time.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for assisting with Master Resource Planning by arranging manufacturing for multiple skus within requested timeframes in order to fulfill customer orders.

  • Serve as a stakeholder with the Demand team to plan and execute inventory levels that align with the forecast.

  • Track inventory levels versus obsolescence across Siete’s distribution center network.

  • Create Purchase Orders according to the Supply Plan and submit them to co-manufacturing partners for execution.

  • Monitor monthly and weekly production plans to ensure manufacturing is on schedule and target inventory levels are satisfactory.

  • Partner with the Contract Manufacturing team to develop and maintain effective relationships with co-manufacturing partners.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy to meet requested fulfillment dates across multiple locations.

  • Create regular production and inventory reports and work closely with the Supply Planning Manager to present findings, trends, and suggestions from inventory reporting.

  • Monitor and measure team KPIs such as Fill Rate %, On Time %, Inventory Turns, etc.

Your Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar planning or related supply chain role is required

  • Strong Excel skills, including comfort with vlookups, pivot tables, and other formulas is required

  • In-depth knowledge of the CPG industry and Contract manufacturers preferred

  • Proficiency of inventory management systems such as Netsuite preferred

  • Strong understanding of planning tools such as Anaplan with the ability to model build preferred
