What You'll Do

As a Support Specialist, you'll serve as the first line of technical support for an active fleet of autonomous vehicles.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Respond to real-time technical issues reported by vehicle operators and safety drivers
  • Investigate, document, and triage software and vehicle-related issues
  • Use Linux/Unix command-line tools to review logs and troubleshoot system behavior
  • Escalate technical issues to engineering teams with clear documentation
  • Support daily vehicle dispatch and return operations
  • Perform vehicle startup and shutdown procedures
  • Monitor charging status and verify successful log uploads
  • Complete basic vehicle readiness checks, including cable connections and onboard system verification
  • Move vehicles throughout the garage and operational facility as needed
  • Assist in documenting procedures and improving operational workflows
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and fleet teams to ensure maximum fleet uptime
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in fast-moving environments, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in Technical Support, Operations Support, IT Support, Help Desk, or a related role
  • Comfortable working daily in a Linux/Unix command-line environment
  • Familiarity with commands such as:
    • cd
    • ls
    • cp
    • rm
    • scp
    • cat
    • vim
    • uptime
    • journalctl
  • Experience using Slack for team communication
  • Experience with Jira, YouTrack, or similar ticketing systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Comfortable moving vehicles within a garage environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around vehicles throughout the day

  • Fleet operations experience
  • Remote technical support experience
  • Autonomous vehicle experience
  • Robotics or hardware support experience
  • Vehicle diagnostics or automotive systems knowledge
  • Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments
Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite position working one of the following 5-day schedules:

First Shift
🕓 Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Additional shifts may become available based on business needs.

Compensation

$20.00–$24.00 per hour
