Job Summary
As the Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing capital for our real estate investments.  This includes building and managing relationships with lenders and equity partners, negotiating joint venture and loan documents, overseeing transaction closings, and projecting an investment’s capital strength. The SVP will play an integral role in the overall vision and strategy of the company’s growth. This role will report to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and structure debt and equity for real estate investments, both development and acquisitions
  • Develop and maintain investor and lender relationships
  • Manage the transaction closing process
  • Review and negotiate loan documents
  • Review and negotiate partnership/joint venture documents
  • Review and approve construction draws
  • Forecast capital needs and oversee capital compliance throughout the investment period
  • Lead and implement internal investment-level capital processes across multiple divisions

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and at least 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; CPA and/or MBA are preferred.

·        Financial institution and people management experience required.

·        Prior experience in an account management role in Financial Services and/or Commercial Real Estate highly preferred.
