The main responsibilities of the position include:
Define and create country-specific marketing strategies
Develop and implement demand and lead-generation marketing & rollout plans for Kenya
Launch marketing campaigns as well as evaluate success and deliverables based on KPIs
Assist the Marketing and the Business Development functions to carry out market research during new region penetration stage, in respect to each country’s ethics, culture, customs, etc.
Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions as required
Assist in the ongoing marketing activities as well as support the marketing team and other regional teams as necessary
Coordinate the marketing team and handle relevant delegated projects
Stay on top of current trends and best practices
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager
Main requirements:
Degree in a marketing, advertising, communications or a business-related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Deep understanding of the Kenyan market
Native Swahili speaker and very good knowledge of English
Solid knowledge of marketing analytics and metrics features
Strong digital marketing skills
Strong project management skills will be considered an advantage
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and ability to multitask
Dynamic and target oriented
