Job Description:
Meet with Customer to understand desired solution, & ensure Customer clearly understands all criteria and deliverables. Create an Order Capture Worksheet (OCW) with detailed provisioning information. Produce detailed specs and drawings required via Ribbon tools and procedures Identify / explore impacts & risks to current configuration. Solution validation – ensure configuration details meet or exceed Customer requirements. Review and follow existing documentation as applicable. Provide project support through services completion (related to engineering solution & budget). Deliverables include: Early Job Conference (EJC) – Customer meeting to review scope details and request Customer related inputs required. Customer Information (CI) – Customer meeting to gather, review and agree on final engineering inputs for the project. Hardware & Cabling Specs – create specs and drawings for inputs to downstream processes including supply chain and deployment team. Identify and order required software via Ribbon tools and processes. Position is fully remote and reports to the company’s headquarters in Plano, TX.

Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Position Requires 3 years of related experience. Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Experience using database tools to engineer, order and document customer projects; Configuring telecom and data equipment in complex networks and providing end-to-end solutions; Knowledgeable of central office and outside plant telecom infrastructure; Test and deploy services and features; Software tool Log captures & analysis; Root Cause Analysis for engineering processes; Evaluate and determine DC power requirements, cabling, and terminations in a telco environment; Electrostatic Discharge processes and preventive techniques; and TL9000 and ISO quality practices. Able to utilize and develop quality processes.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in all geographic locations is $117,000.00 - $139,200.00 annually. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills and education. The compensation package also includes eligibility for an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits, subject to applicable requirements.
