Nokia of America Corporation, System NPI Support Engineer, EIMI, Dallas, TX.
Perform early integration testing/support of key marquee features and/or flagship products with customer configurations testing of SW loads prior to delivery of SW/HW to customer lab.
Provide supplemental support for testing of features and knowledge transfer of learnings from early integration to relative end 2 end and other services teams via both written and oral communications.
Perform log collection and issue investigation including initial log analysis sufficient to be able to generate an associated pronto ticket for any faults discovered back into the R&D teams for correction.
Assist with fault replication of issues identified in lab/field sites and escalated for additional support.
Debug/log collection and investigation of issue from lab/field.
Provide support for Knife (either additional debug or correction) validation before delivery to customer lab/field sites.
Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.
Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 40%.
QualificationsMust have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:
Non-Stand Alone and Stand Alone 5G call flow;
Network Side RAN log collection;
QXDM/QCAT for User Equipment device side log collection;
Requirements analysis and test case creation for testing of new feature functionality; and,
Wireshark, EMIL or TTI Log Tracer.
Domestic travel up to 25% required.
