As a Systems Reliability and Support Specialist Sr. within PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC) you will be based at one of PNC's Information Technology Hubs: Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Dallas, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama, Denver, Colorado, Phoenix, Arizona.
In this role you will focus on
•Vulnerabilities Management
• Incident Management
• Installing and renewing certifications
• Working with Windows and Linux
• Configuring servers to new standards
• Ensuring projects are completed by target dates from start to finish.
• Team on call support part of the role with gradual initiation into the rotation
Technical Skills Required:
• Production Support and related documentation
• Operating systems upgrade for Linux and Windows servers
• Dynatrace / Logscale
Technical Skills Desired…
• Jira/Confluence, Service Now, SQL/ETL – (SQL server installation and queries) (ETL - would require ability to code if necessary, triage and detect errors/troubleshooting)

  • Monitor, maintain and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
  • Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades with an understanding of the production environment and goal of continuous availability.
  • Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Conducts root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
  • Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Reports out information to support stabilization.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications and transfers knowledge to more junior staff.
  • Leads application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $75,000.00 – $137,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
