Role: Systems Analyst
Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States
Travel: Up to 25%
Classification: Salaried, Exempt
Reports to: Revenue Cycle Leadership
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
About the role
The Systems Analyst is responsible for playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our revenue cycle systems. Their expertise will contribute directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our revenue processes, impacting our organization's financial health and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional departments on projects in order to optimize system performance.
- Will maintain the payer database in relation to 835 and 837 transactional activities through the clearinghouse and EHR.
- Serves as a liaison between Services and IT to manage changes and/or issues with the clients electronic health record system.
- Supports the planning, development, implementation and upgrading of related software.
- Works closely with the Services team to design, configure, build and maintain work queues, claims edits, reporting, and other items specific to the clients electronic health record workflows.
- Responsible for implementing new systems, software release, system enhancements, training and day-to-day user related system problems.
- Provides training support for new and existing processes, in collaboration with other internal and external teams.
- Leads meetings with internal and external customers including third party vendors in a professional manner.
- Navigates several computer applications simultaneously; documents all actions taken in appropriate Revology and/or client systems.
- Complies with and holds with utmost regard all compliance requirements to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Stays curious, kind and contributes positively to the Revology culture. The health + harmony of the team is everybody’s responsibility at revology.

Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience working in electronic health record systems
- 2-3 years’ experience working in the Revenue Cycle industry preferred.
- Proven ability in MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An aptitude for problem-solving, patience and flexibility while working in the complex industry of healthcare revenue cycle.
- Ability to comfortably navigate and support a team in a technology-focused environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Remote work requirements
Internet capability must be a high-speed internet connection of 40 Mbps speeds or greater.
Physical requirements
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted. Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required. Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
Working conditions
Work will generally be performed indoors in an office environment. Must maintain a professional appearance and manner.
