PurposeCare | Remote (Midwest Preferred)

Help Build the Teams That Deliver Exceptional Care

At PurposeCare, we believe every great patient experience begins with the right people.

As one of the Midwest's fastest-growing Home Health and Home Care organizations, we're building a best-in-class Talent Acquisition team that serves as a strategic business partner to our Operations leaders. We're looking for an experienced recruiter who enjoys solving complex hiring challenges, building strong partnerships, and making a measurable impact on organizational growth.

This isn't a transactional recruiting role. You'll own your market, influence hiring strategy, and partner directly with operational leaders to help PurposeCare continue expanding across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

If you're passionate about healthcare recruiting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want the opportunity to help shape the future of Talent Acquisition, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while serving as a trusted advisor to Operations, HR, and executive leadership.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning full-cycle recruitment for clinical, caregiver, operational, and corporate positions across assigned markets.
  • Building proactive talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill healthcare positions, including Registered Nurses, Therapists, and Operations leadership.
  • Developing market-specific recruiting strategies that align with business priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Partnering with hiring managers and Operations leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, and long-term staffing strategies.
  • Conducting recruiter screens, coordinating interviews, and guiding hiring teams through the selection process.
  • Managing offers, negotiations, and candidate communication while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Leveraging Indeed, referrals, networking, Boolean searches, and other sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
  • Utilizing recruiting metrics and labor market data to improve hiring outcomes and influence recruiting decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate recruiting activity within our Applicant Tracking System (ADP Recruiting Management).
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Supporting employer branding, recruitment marketing, and special Talent Acquisition initiatives.
What Success Looks Like

Our Talent Acquisition Partners are expected to:

  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders and become trusted business partners.
  • Deliver high-quality candidates while balancing speed and quality.
  • Think strategically about workforce planning—not simply filling requisitions.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Use data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent the PurposeCare brand with professionalism, urgency, and integrity.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (healthcare experience required).
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, Boolean search techniques, referrals, and networking.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable using recruiting metrics to drive performance and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); ADP Recruiting Management experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Home Health, Home Care, Hospice, Post-Acute Care, or Healthcare recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple geographic markets.
  • Experience recruiting Registered Nurses, Therapists, and healthcare leadership roles.
  • Experience partnering with Operations leaders in a decentralized, multi-site environment.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing and talent pipeline development.
