Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the end-to-end recruiting process by sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with hiring managers and applicants. The role enhances candidate pipelines through targeted sourcing, community partnerships, and career fair participation, while ensuring accurate job postings and compliance with recruitment standards. Additionally, the Coordinator prepares staffing reports, supports workforce planning, and promotes internal mobility and referral program participation to strengthen Service Wire Company’s overall talent strategy.

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consult with leaders, hiring managers, and human resources team on position descriptions, compensation, and sourcing strategies  
  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as screen resumes, complete phone screens, administer assessments, schedule candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates 
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting  
  • Participates in career fairs and cultivates community partnerships to build strong candidate pipelines, expand the applicant database, and promote the Service Wire Company brand
  • Place and update all job postings in various media including applicant tracking system, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners  
  • Prepares and presents regular and timely reports on staffing activity, pipeline health, and hiring outcomes, and develops forward-looking workforce plans to support future organizational needs
  • Proactively communicates with managers and employees to drive participation in the Service Wire Company referral program while showcasing internal advancement paths.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of human resources, talent acquisition, and interviewing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws and procedures, and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing/distribution work environments preferred
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism in all interactions with candidates, employees, and external partners
  • Proven proficiency in diverse recruiting strategies, including advanced online and social media sourcing techniques
  • Must possess excellent oral/written communication, marketing, presentation, interviewing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and applicant tracking systems
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Proven work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel (up to 15-20%)
  • Recruiting and retention experience in the greater Houston and/or Phoenix area
