Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager owns the full recruiting lifecycle at Kennicott — from strategy and sourcing to offer and onboarding handoff for hourly/, salary and leadership roles.. This role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing, consistent recruiting function across all 14 locations, with direct ownership of our ATS (Paycom) and key sourcing platforms including Indeed. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Paycom experience, a process-builder mindset, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers across a geographically distributed, operationally complex organization. This is a working manager role — you will carry a req load while building the systems and structure that make recruiting at Kennicott scalable and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruiting for all roles and locations — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding handoff
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Conduct intake meetings, set expectations, coach on interview best practices and compliance, and hold managers accountable for timely feedback and decisions
  • Paycom ATS Ownership: Serve as system administrator; build and maintain requisition templates, workflow stages, and offer letter templates; ensure data integrity; train hiring managers on ATS usage
  • Reporting & Metrics: Generate and interpret Paycom recruiting dashboards; track time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance, and early attrition; present findings to HR leadership
  • Sourcing & Platforms: Own the Kennicott Indeed employer account postings, campaigns, budget, and performance; evaluate and manage additional platforms; maintain posting templates that reflect Kennicott's brand and ESOP culture
  • Process & Strategy: Build and maintain Kennicott's TA playbook; identify patterns in turnover and recruiting challenges; bring data-informed recommendations to HR leadership
  • Compliance: Ensure recruiting activity complies with EEO, OFCCP, and applicable state/local law; maintain accurate records in Paycom
Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience in a multi-state organization with responsibility for hourly and salaried positions
  • Hands-on Paycom ATS experience — proficiency in system configuration, requisition management, reporting, and hiring manager training 
  • Experience managing Indeed employer accounts and sponsored campaigns
  • Ability to manage 15–20 open requisitions simultaneously across multiple hiring managers
  • Working knowledge of employment law as it applies to recruiting, including multi-state compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting data to leadership
  • Willingness to lean in on projects and wear multiple hats during slower recruiting periods

Preferred

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification; background in distribution or logistics a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Prior experience in or alongside an ESOP company
