THE ROLE

Alpine Investors is seeking a Talent Analyst to join its talent team. This position is focused on proactively identifying, engaging, and cultivating relationships with high-potential executive talent. This Analyst will be a part of developing a team that works across Alpine’s portfolio to (i) grow our leadership network, (ii) build a durable pipeline of future executives, and (iii) serve as a trusted advisor to Alpine’s investment team. Given the exposure in this role, Analysts will gain a front-row view of how Alpine builds and backs world-class teams, creating a clear runway to advance into a talent leadership role over time. This role is based in Austin, TX and the target start date for this role is as soon as possible.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and manage a proactive pipeline of executive candidates
  • Design and execute outbound strategies to connect with prospects through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Lead introductory conversations that build genuine rapport and assess fit with Alpine’s values and leadership profile
  • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with business leaders
  • Market map industry talent and deliver landscape insights to drive future investments
  • Complete ad hoc projects focused on workflows, candidate tracking processes, and the infrastructure necessary for this function to operate effectively at scale
  • Participate in a variety of firm-wide activities and team-bonding events

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree - interest in talent, business, or entrepreneurship
  • 1-3+ years of experience in talent or business development, with a proven track record of success
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
  • Perceptive, adaptive, self-aware, and a demonstrated ability to build and grow meaningful relationships
  • Ability to establish credibility quickly and inspire action among a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Self-starter energized by the opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-impact function
